Enterprise Recruitment offer bespoke training with overseas recruitment

In a talent short market, Enterprise Recruitment are partnering with overseas recruitment and training companies to offer their New Zealand clients a new, forward-thinking solution to their staffing problems.

The “labour crisis”

The talent-short market—which has been described as a “labour crisis” by the New Zealand Herald—is now a reality for many New Zealand based businesses. And whilst many recruitment agencies offer a form of overseas hiring, Enterprise Recruitment have found this traditional approach wasn’t meeting their clients’ needs due to the lack of training delivered to New Zealand standards.

Creating a training program in partner with overseas recruitment agencies

Enterprise have always believed that working in collaboration with others in the industry can only help to raise the bar for clients and candidates across the board. So naturally, the latest step in the overseas hiring process involved a business trip to Vietnam to solidify two exclusive partnerships with Vietnamese recruitment and training companies. “There’s an untapped pool of skilled candidates in the regions that we have established partnerships,” says Warwick, Group CEO at Enterprise.

This partnership allows Enterprise to offer readily available and skilled candidates who will undergo specific training in fabrication and food production trades to a New Zealand standard, before arriving in Aotearoa. General Manager of Enterprise Recruitment, Kurt McInerney explains that “this tailored solution can be applied to several industries.”

Improving lives, always

Providing the opportunity for Vietnamese residents to move to New Zealand has been described as “incredible” by McPherson. He continues to explain the excitement of the Vietnamese candidates he met with, for the idea of moving to New Zealand and creating a stable future for their families. McInerney says: “I’m genuinely excited to work on these solutions, it’s definitely the most rewarding project I’ve worked on.”
